What I’m Doing Now.

Shout out to Derek Sivers for the concept.

UPDATE

Last updated 16th of October 2024 in Leichhardt, NSW. Spring time, best season.

FUN

I got addicted to the thrill of motorcycling. Long rides in the countryside, alone or with groups. Learn the technique, get better, and stay humble. Then the flow… Attended Level 1 of California Superbike School, loved it. Bought a race suit. Track days soon!

I found my perfect definition of a party: Open-air; daytime; Epic DJs, long sets and a solid sound system. That’s it. Can’t wait for this one: Theo Parrish 3H set, Void Acoustics and it starts at 6 PM. God bless – I’m now 41, with 2 kids.

NSW has amazing parks and walks in nature are becoming an important part of my life. The best family time I can think of. I want my children to know and learn to appreciate untouched nature. Simple life.

My local comedy club: the most underrated place ever. I visit it at least monthly now, so much fun. It’s deep too; you learn a lot about society through the rotation of eight divergent comedians on stage.

Talking about depth, I’m 30+ hours into Red Dead Redemption 2.

GROWTH

Reading a lot at the moment. Nassim Taleb back to back: Fooled by Randomness, Antifragile, and Skin in the Game. The last two are a must-read.

Still strong on daily meditation. After a loooong streak on Waking Up, I am now with The Way. Both are amazing apps, the only ones I recommend.

PROJECTS

I learn so much, but my knowledge is not sufficiently organized. So I’m digging into PKMs, second brains, digital gardens… So far, I have settled on Sublime to start building.

I also want to share more and connect with like-minded people. I just started a newsletter. It’s fun and reminds me of the good old days of blogging, which are coming back (they never went away).

Working on a way to connect like-minded people IRL, through experiences. A club, a community that would gather regularly to enjoy the little things and what is beyond the ordinary. One theme per experience. The Supper Club revival is a good reference.
